What to expect with Permanent Makeup
At the start of every appointment India allows time for a thorough consultation where you will discuss the results you want to achieve. Before beginning the procedure, she will take specific measurements of your face, draw the shape with a pencil and will work with you to create a look you both love.
After treatment, the colour will appear darker – and will fade up to 50% during the healing process. You will need to follow aftercare instructions in order to achieve the best, long-lasting results. All new Permanent Makeup is a two-part process – you will have a second follow up treatment 6 to 12 weeks after your first appointment.
In order to keep the colour looking fresh and in perfect condition – an annual maintenance appointment is recommended, though this will vary for each individual. The cost of maintenance varies depending on how long it has been since your prior appointment – see our Price List for further details.
Our Prices
All NEW Permanent Makeup Treatments include a FREE retouch 6 to 12 weeks following the initial procedure for optimum results. Please note that your second visit must be booked and undertaken within the 12 week period.
Maintenance prices are for initial procedures carried out by India Gabrielle. If you have had your permanent makeup procedure initially done elsewhere, treatments will be considered at India’s discretion and require a consultation.

Pre-Treatment Advice
When you book any Permanent Makeup – you will receive full Pre-Treatment Advice via email. It is important to ensure all advice is correctly followed, in order to ensure that the best results can be safely achieved. Key points include; avoiding alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen or aspirin for 72 hours before the treatment. If you have been advised by a doctor to take aspirin, or any other blood-thinning medication – please let us know prior to booking an appointment or discuss this during your consultation. If you have any skin conditions – please also let us know prior to booking your treatment.
Treatment Aftercare
For the first couple of weeks you should avoid swimming, direct sun exposure, strenuous exercise that is likely to make you sweat, extreme heat such as; saunas, steam rooms and sun beds, as well as avoiding the application of makeup to the treated area. At your appointment India will discuss what to expect after your treatment and during the healing period. Full details will be sent to you via email.

Does permanent makeup look natural?
Yes, the healed result will look very natural. Remember, your permanent makeup will look more prominent for the first 3-7 days.
Does permanent makeup hurt?
The treatment is performed with your comfort in mind. For this reason, anaesthetic gel is applied prior to treatment to minimise discomfort.
Is permanent makeup safe?
In the right hands – absolutely! India Gabrielle only uses the highest quality pigments that are specifically selected for their safe, non-toxic and hypoallergenic properties. There have been no reports to indicate otherwise since their inception over 20 years ago. They continue to adapt — meeting current trends while anticipating the regulations of tomorrow. Is permanent makeup really permanent?
India Gabrielle only uses the finest quality permanent makeup pigments and they will soften/fade in colour over time, typically 1-5 years. We are all different, but lifestyle factors such as your skin type, anti-aging creams, sun exposure, sweating and tanning beds, will all affect how long it takes for your permanent makeup to fade. India personally recommends a maintenance appointment to boost the colour and freshen the look every 12-18 months.
