If you have had a bad Semi Permanent Makeup experience or are simply not happy with the results, Saline Removal can remove most pigment colours. The process involves microneedling the treatment area with a saline solution – which gently draws the pigment to the surface and exfoliates it away. Most tattoos will appear lighter after just one treatment, although this treatment usually takes 2-8 procedures to achieve desired results and and is dependent on the following factors;

• Age of pigmentation
• Size of area to be treated
• Skin type
• Saturation and depth of pigment

Without knowing what type of pigment was used or how much or how deeply the pigment was implanted into your skin – and because skin types vary – there is no guarantee on how many treatments will be needed to achieve satisfactory results.

The area may be tattooed over once the area has completely healed. It doesn’t cause loss of hair to the area and is easily controlled unlike the use of acids which can be highly unpredictable.

It is sometimes possible to correct the colour and shape of existing PMU.
