When administered into the underarms, it can block the action of the sweat glands in the area, effectively reducing excessive sweating. It works by preventing the nerve impulses to the injected muscles, which in turn stops the sweat glands from overworking.
The effects of treatment typically last between 6 to 12 months, depending on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and the area treated. • Avoid Blood Thinners: For a week before the procedure, avoid blood thinners such as Aspirin, Clopidogrel, Warfarin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, and any other anti-coagulant medication. If you have been prescribed such medication by a medical professional, do not cease use without consulting them first.
• Avoid Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol for 48 hours before and after the treatment as it can increase the risk of bruising.
• Overall Health: You must be fit and well for at least two weeks before receiving this treatment. If you are currently unwell or have been unwell recently (including any type of infection or antibiotics), please call the clinic as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.• Avoid Products: Avoid applying body lotions, deodorant or antiperspirant to the area before your appointment.

• Avoid Touching the Treated Areas: DO NOT touch, rub, massage, or apply pressure to the treated areas
• Refrain from consuming alcohol or smoking for 48 hours.
• Blood Thinning Medications: Avoid Aspirin, Clopidogrel, Warfarin, Ibuprofen, or any other blood-thinning medications for 7 days. Be mindful that continuing such medications may increase the likelihood of bruising at the injection site.
• Limit Physical Activity: Avoid any exercise or physical activity for 24 hours, and refrain from intense exercise for the next 3 days.
• Avoid Heat Treatments: Avoid heat exposure such as sunbathing, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, or sunbeds for 3 days after the procedure.
• No Hot Compresses: Do not apply any hot compresses to the treated area.
• Hygiene: Keep the treated area clean to prevent infection. Avoid touching or rubbing the area, especially with unclean hands. Always wash your hands thoroughly before applying any skincare products.• You should wait at least 24 hours after your hyperhidrosis injection treatment before applying body lotions, deodorant or antiperspirant to the treated area. This allows the injection sites to heal and reduces the risk of irritation or infection.
