Lynton Focus Dual®
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound
Lynton Focus Dual® High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), also known as the "Non-Surgical Face Lift" or "Lunchtime Face Lift," is a cutting-edge treatment designed to lift, tighten, and rejuvenate the face, neck, and body. Utilising the medical CE-certified Focus Dual® System from Lynton - a trusted, multi-award-winning UK manufacturer of aesthetic technology - this treatment delivers outstanding results with enhanced safety and reduced discomfort.
This treatment stands out as one of the few non-invasive technologies capable of reaching the 'SMAS' layer, the same area targeted during surgical face lifts. By delivering precise ultrasound energy, it stimulates the deep layers of the skin - the heat generated causes immediate contraction, dermal remodelling and a tightening and lifting effect. Stimulating the cells to produce strong, new collagen and kick-starting dormant collagen. This results in a lifting and firming effect, reducing the appearance of sagging skin.
With no downtime and long-lasting effects, this treatment has become a popular choice for individuals seeking a non-invasive alternative to traditional face lift procedures. It’s a great treatment on it’s own, and is also often combined with Focus Dual Radiofrequency Microneedling.
This is also a non-invasive and non-surgical alternative to traditional fat reduction procedures - achieving a more sculpted and contoured appearance on both the face and body. Targeting specific areas of concern, such as double chins or stubborn body fat deposits - ultrasound waves penetrate deep into the skin, disrupting the fat cells without harming the surrounding tissues. This process triggers a natural inflammatory response, leading to the gradual breakdown and elimination of fat.

A prior skin consultation before booking a HIFU treatment isn't mandatory, but they are available to book if you would prefer to find out more about the treatment or to discuss your skin concerns and goals beforehand. We do recommend scheduling a prior consultation if you have any health conditions or if you are taking medication, as it allows us to assess your suitability before booking your treatment. Every HIFU appointment begins with a thorough consultation by our practitioners - to explain the treatment, assess your skin and answer any questions you may have. Upon booking your treatment, full pre and post treatment advice will be emailed directly to you - to ensure you understand how to fully prepare for your treatment. It is imperative that you fully follow this advice to ensure treatment can go ahead on the day of your appointment. If you have any questions, please do contact us ahead of your appointment. Your safety and satisfaction is our top priority, so we also require clients to complete a medical consent form, which our practitioners review carefully to ensure suitability before proceeding with any treatment. Your practitioner will also discuss how to care for your skin after treatment during your appointment.

Lynton Focus Dual® High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), also called the “Non-Surgical Face Lift” or “Lunchtime Face Lift,” is a non-invasive treatment designed to lift, tighten, and rejuvenate the face, neck, and body. It uses the CE-certified Focus Dual® System from Lynton for safe, effective results with minimal discomfort. HIFU can reach the SMAS layer, the same area targeted in surgical face lifts, stimulating collagen production for gradual lifting and firming. It can also reduce localised fat, helping to sculpt and contour areas like the jawline or body. With no downtime and long-lasting results, HIFU is a popular alternative to surgical procedures and can be combined with Focus Dual Radiofrequency Microneedling for enhanced effects.

Yes, HIFU can be combined with other treatments to achieve more comprehensive skin rejuvenation. It works particularly well with Radiofrequency Microneedling to enhance results, such as achieving a non-surgical face or neck lift. Typically, other treatments are not performed on the same day. The recommended time between appointments depends on the specific treatments being combined. Your practitioner can help create the best treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and goals.

The number of HIFU sessions varies from person to person and depends on factors such as skin type, degree of laxity, and whether there is any excess fat in the treatment area, as well as individual treatment goals. Most clients begin with one session, then return for a review after 3 months to assess their results. We aim for natural, balanced results, so it’s important not to over-treat. A maximum of three sessions per year is recommended, spaced at least 12 weeks apart, to allow the skin to respond and collagen to rebuild safely and effectively.

Most clients find HIFU to be comfortable and well tolerated, though sensations can vary depending on the treatment area and individual sensitivity. During treatment, you may feel a warmth or tingling as the ultrasound energy targets the deeper layers of the skin - some people describe it as a “popping candy” sensation beneath the surface. Areas such as the jawline or forehead can feel slightly more sensitive, but any discomfort is temporary and, in most cases, settles as soon as the treatment ends. Afterwards, it’s normal for the treated area to feel slightly tender or have a mild bruised sensation for a few days. You may also notice that your tolerance can fluctuate — for example, some clients find they’re more sensitive around their menstrual cycle. We also recommend eating well before your appointment, as being hungry or low on energy can make you feel more uncomfortable. If you’re concerned about sensitivity, your practitioner can adjust the settings to make the experience more comfortable.

HIFU is a non-invasive treatment, so there is minimal to no downtime. Clients return to their normal activities immediately after the session. You may notice slight tenderness or a mild bruised sensation in the treated area for a few days, which is normal. Results from HIFU are gradual, as collagen production takes time. Most clients begin to see improvements over 2–3 months, with continued tightening and lifting over the following months.
